2 dealership alignments can't fix pull to the right

I have a 2014 2500hd crew cab that has been pulling to the right for about a month. I needed new tires so I put them on a couple weeks ago then went in for an alignment. Still pulled to the right so I went back yesterday and the tech and service manager agreed it is still pulling. This time they noticed my right side torsion bar adjustment bolt was out more than the right. I've never touched them. He adjusted that then did another alignment but it's still pulling. Truck has 83,000km (52,000mi).

If the alignment is correct I would drive it for a while, pull over and feel the front wheels for heat to check if a brake is hanging up and causing it to pull. Or jack up the front and spin the wheels. Bad wheel bearing will also cause this. :happysad:

x2.

But in all honesty find an independent shop to align your truck. Preferably a shop with a newer Hunter laser alignment machine, and a tech with experience. NTB's usually have pretty good equipment, and I have had some luck with them aligning vehicles.

Check all four wheels for a hung brake...a rear will cause a pull also.

If you hadn't changed tires, I would have suspected a failing tire...I have had this twice now.

X3. I had the Chevy dealer align my 2500 3 times and they couldn't get it right, (it pulled to the same side all 3 times after they did some front end work) I drove it down the street to a BIG-O literally 500 feet away and they aligned it correctly the first time.

My brother in law runs a independent shop and they are always fixing dealer alignments. We had a truck that the dealer fixed the alignment in under warranty twice and couldn't get it right. Took it to his shop and got it right the first time.

My 14' 2500 was out of alignment from when I drove it off the lot with 2 miles on. I didn't even waste time going back to the dealer and went to the reputable alignment shop in my area and problem solved

Did it pull before the tires? Left and right torsion bar adjusting bokts aren't even from the factory. There probably isn't to many that have them exactly even on both sides.

Guess what I recently learned...

They add more camber to the passenger side to make it pull slightly right. If you find a good alignment shop, they can balance the camber between the sides and eliminate the pull. I did this less than two weeks ago on my 2012.

I had this same complaint, a constant pull to the right...the tech showed me spec and tod me to eliminate the pull he would have to be slightly out of spec on camber. After alignment, it tracks straight for miles on flat roads whereas before it would drift off the shoulder in a couple hundred yards. The only thing he changed was camber on the passenger side, all my other measurements were good (he did the alignment a couple years before).

Hello trevorwright0,

I recognize that multiple trips to the dealership can be frustrating, and understand how important the drivability of your truck can be. I would be more than happy to get you in touch with the proper teams in order to best assist you. Please private message me with your VIN, full contact information, current kms and dealership you have been working with.

This. If it didn't cross the two fronts and see what happens. Just because the tires are new doesn't mean there ok.
