Need help with my 2005 silverado

Oil is not low according to the dip stick : ( its not knocking now its weird some times it does some times it doesnt but usually its after getting it up to speeds 55+ .

Wow.

With the additional info you have provided, changing the oil now would be recommended.

A manifold leak and lifter tick sound a lot alike. But, since you are getting low oil pressure warnings, low oil pressure will cause the lifters to clatter and tick.

Other issues to consider would be worn crank and rod bearings, worn oil pump/oil sump pick up o-ring.

  My 2021 Silverado 1500 RST with the 5.3L (L84) engine came with DFM, but thank God for the "Range" AFM/DFM disabler module, which plugs right into the OBD-II maintenance port. The best $300.00 I ever spent. Range Technology RA003B AFM/DFM Disabler

  Special order? I go on the Chevy web site and the only option I see for a regular cab is a standard bed.

  You aren't missing much. I have it in my 2025 Equinox EV which has the AutoSense and it drives you nuts. Any time you walk by the back of the truck, if you are in the path long enough to hit the 4th beep it opens. It opens way too easily and unwantedly. If you "gotta" have it, GM will be of zero help to add it, so don't even bother going that route.
