Did this ever come out for the standard mirrors? I'm building a 2017 Denali and it is saying just for the tow mirrors, also do see the 3rd brake light camera.

See this post prompted me to get out and install mine yesterday. The weather finally agreed with spending 5 hours to put it in.

The instructions leave a little to be desired. There is a video on the Echomaster website and on YouTube... It helps some as well but also missing a few details.

I figured the dash work would be the most complicated but it was not - it was actually fairly straight forward... The doors on the other hand where the PITA. There are a lot of clips in the doors... I have yet to figure out how to pull the C-pillar cover off for the harness running to the wireless module. But the harness does tuck behind the seat.

I have not had a chance to try it out yet as it was dark when I finished up. A quick drive showed that it worked as plan and has wide field of view...

If you are mechanically inclined you can do it - just take your time...

Here is a link to the video...

Yes there is a version for the standard mirrors. I believe it is part # 19355213 for the standard mirrors. You will need to verify it...

Thanks for sharing - I was looking for some pictures of it before I buy it... I do not really have a need today but want it anyway to complete the system... It is not what I was expecting but it does look good.

How is the view on the nav screen? How much do you see?

Did you install it and how much of a pain was it to run the harness?

That will be the next challenge as I am cheap and do not want the dealer messing up my truck...

You see the entire bed and a little bit behind the truck.

Install is fairly easy. what i did is remove the door rubber seal and use the coat hanger to snake the wires from the 3rd brake light down and between the headliner.

Great - that does not sound as bad as I was thinking about... I will look to order one soon. Thanks!

Ok - a month or so after getting the main unit installed with the mirrors I ordered and just received today the third brake light kit to complete the entire system.

Hopefully this weekend I can get it installed.

One of the things I noticed with the mirrors is that you can not display those cameras when you are in reverse. The systems still wants to show the camera in the tailgate. And only the tailgate when in reverse.

Has anyone else experienced this?????

I am thinking the camera for the trailer and the bed may be useless when backing up as the head unit is only going to show you the tailgate camera....

I bought the system to aid in backup the RV when it is connected or connecting it...

I sent a message to Echomaster and they responded within an hour... The catch is to place the truck in Reverse and wait a minimum of 7 seconds then activate the the camera you want...

MVI's system gives you a separate reverse input and the option to choose which reverse input to display when you shift to reverse. So you connect your trailer camera to the module's reverse input and change the setting whenever you hookup the trailer. You would automatically get the trailer camera in reverse. Of course this is no good for the guys who already bought the OE system but extra info for those considering their options.
