Which app should I use?

Just got a new 2016 Silverado, and need to download app to use with Onstar 5yr program. Still shows that there are two apps, My Chevrolet app and the Onstar remotelink. Do I need both or does the My Chevrolet app do everything now?

i use the My GMC app over the onstar... .. it does everything the other does..

Use the my chevy app. The OnStar app will be phased out in the near distant future. You only need one but not both and the MyChevy app has more features than the OnStar app.

The Chevy app has everything to Onstar app has and then some. They basically combined the Chevy app with the Onstar app to have it all in one app.

OnStar told me to use the My Chevrolet app.

Same with me, I use the My Chevrolet App. Although, you an use your Onstar login with the Cherolet App. if you downloaded it first and setup an account.

Can you send addresses to your my link screen with the Chevy app like you can with the onstar app?
