very uneven tire wear usually targeting the outboard side of the tire tapering upward as you go inboard. Or if you jack up the wheel you can wiggle the tire. Best is to just bring it to a tire shop if you are not sure. They can usually check it for you for free. At least mine offers check ups like that for free and they are surprisingly honest, i.e. they dont make up issues that dont really exist just for a buck

For those saying they like moog, will you explain why you prefer these over OEM? I currently have 70k miles on my OEMs and they are still working fine so I'm curious why I should switch from OEM to moog when the time comes to replace them.

In my case, parts are cheaper than labor. After 2 alignments and 1 inspection I'm swapping over to better suspension to work with level/lift kit. Rockauto has the premium MOOG stuff at $48cdn. GM stuff is just AC Delco and is listed cheaper as normal replacement (which I have no problem with). But I'm willing to put the best parts I can in now, and for $10 difference I'll try them. MOOG tech support has been quick, knowledgeable, and flawless in my experience. I just asked them another question today and they had exact answer and sent me pic to explain.

Pic #1 - daily driven tires Goodyear SRA with 35k km/25k miles on them.

Pic #2 - OEM style ball joint vs MOOG premium, with grease fitting

Should also mention there is limited selection parts for models with aluminum lower control arms.

I would recommend Moog premium line of ball joints and lower control arms only. Its the best way other than oem parts to get 100k miles out of them. The premiums are being made in USA a lot of the time now too! Moog does have an economy line. So make sure you are getting the right line of parts. Anything economy might last a year and they will be loose again. Do it right and you should only have to do it once! :)

Should you need to replace the whole lower control arm, I made a sweet video on how to replace it! I just started a youtube channel, so if the video helps anyone out please subscribe! I need 1k subscribers to get paid someday. I work hard on the videos and I have new ones every week. Thanks a lot! ~shaun
