Any updates on the tune and how it’s running?

Not yet,  I haven't finished installing the Air Fuel gauge.  Hopefully I'll have time to work on it tomorrow .

It's running but I haven't driven it except to pick up that air compressor, since the tune isn't finished

Starting installed my AEM air fuel gauge today.  I really didn't feel like removing the Y pipe in my garage unless I was going to install headers,  so I removed the left wheel well and hoped for the best.  I drilled a hole, put the o2 bung in, angled it a little bit so condensation won't build up in the sensor and welded it up. It was tough to get the welder in there so it's pretty ugly, but it doesn't leak and it works.

Almost finished with my new gauge setup.  Just waiting for my micro2 add a circuits to come in so I can hook up power to the wideband gauge.

The AEM Bezel perfectly snaped onto the Autometer gauge, so I painted them all the same color silver, as well as the edges of the Banks scan gauge so they all matched a little better.

So I got it hooked up and took it for a drive.  Everything works great.

Since the SLP supercharger uses the same blower as the GM 900 supercharger kit, it has an extra vacuum port on it for the power brake booster.  SO what I did was disconnect the vacuum pump hose and got some 15/32 brake booster hose and went from the vacuum port on the blower to the check valve on the booster.  Took it for a drive and had no issues at all with the brake assist. I'll be removing the vacuum pump and plugging the oil holes with the plugs that the LT1 engine come with.

5200 miles.

So today I removed the Vacuum pump completely and I also replaced my thermostat with a Whipple 160 degree.

For the vacuum pump you just remove it and install two plugs into the oil feed and return like the LT1 and LT4 have.

I forgot to take an after picture of the pump so I put a picture of the plugs I found on the internet.

And here's a couple pictures of the Whipple thermostat vs. the oem.  The Whipple has no o-ring, they say it isn't needed.  My truck ran at a steady 156-160 on the way home according to the scan gauge, and my IAT temps dropped 10 degrees.

The thermostat hasn't a gasket? How does it seal?

It doesn't need to seal at that spot, according to Whipple.

here's another picture I found online. the thermostat is just and insert into the GM assembly.  it seals with the gasket on the plastic housing.  You just replace the actual brass insert

Thats the autometer 3 gauge pillar.

I had the body shop at my work paint it. I believe the color was Ford Dove Gray, 4N1

I found some LS1 valve covers while cleaning out the garage and one had the elbow on it still.  the LS1 cover has one "nub" retaining that elbow, and our trucks have two to retain the cap.  I had to cut off the upper nub and this elbow twisted right on.
