Goodbye WeatherTech, Hello Husky

What's sucks is the best fitting and materials used are the gm. Would be perfect if not for that stupid cut out. I just returned the husky x act because the cut was to low along center console so ordered weather tech. They cover better but too stiff. But willing to compromise for coverage. Too bad weather tech doesn't update there material to something like husky. Going to try and cut and glue a patch unto gm ones . Just bought a cheap mat from auto zone to try. Hopefully turns out well so I can return weather tech.

I just bought a set of these for our 2017 Equinox, and they are more of a thermoplastic than rubber, a lot thinner than I expected (had old versions of WTs way back in the day).

They fit great, almost too well because you keep trying to get them perfect. The Wife commented they are slippery when wet...figure a little dirt will solve that problem. They cover well.

And yes, they are Husky weatherbeaters...

I had a set of the weather techs in my 15. I found that they were slippery when wet, and warped after a period of time. I bought the husky x act contours for the 2500, so far they fit perfectly and aren't slippery when wet. As far as coverage they aren't as good as the weather techs but they are still really good and keep the carpet cleani. I recommend the Husky x act contour mats and would buy them again, the weather techs I probably wouldn't.

I sent back my weathertech after they came in the mail. Just looked shitty. Ordered the husky and couldnt be happier, plus got the set for close to 50 bucks cheaper.
