rear seat, plastic seatbelt cover

Hi, I have the 2017 sierra SLT crew cab. The plastic seatbelt cover keeps popping out and doesn't stay in.

 

I was surprised at how cheap this thing was.

 

Anyone have similar issues or know how to fix this?

It just snaps back in place... very poorly designed.

yeah it snaps back and then comes out when I lift/lower the seat. Pretty disappointed at the price point of the truck and the minor overlooked detailS.

My 14 was unsnapped when I bought it. I reattached it several times only to have it pop open again. FINALLY, I must have been holding my mouth right, it snapped together with a more firm click than I had noticed before and never again in two years did it ever pop open again. Just keep messing with it and maybe you'll find its agreeable spot like I did.

Hah.  I had found these two plastic pieces on the floor of my 2018 Sierra.  Did a Google search and found this page.  Now at least I know where it goes.

I HATE this stupid thing!!!  I just bought a new one because i thought there might be something wrong with the old one, but nope... Same thing keeps happening.  definitely seems like the only way to "fix" it is to get lucky with it snapping in right... such a crappy design for such a simple thing.

I have to replace mine too as it kept popping off and then 1/2 of it went missing. Here is one place you can check out. There are 4 pieces listed about 1/2 way down the page 2 are for cocoa interior color and 2 are for black interior. Just depends on what you have.
