Question about tires on trk as opposed to what is on window sticker

I have Goodyear Wrangler SRa tires on my truck. They are an all season tire. I just noticed on my window sticker that I paid $350 for all terrain tires. Do I have any recourse with the dealership? Only 3600 miles on truck and about 800 miles on 3 of 4 tires that were replaced due to terrible balance issues. I wish I would have noticed this prior

No it just says all terrain and 350 cost. The wrangler sra is an all season I I would never pay that much extra for them. I do not like them and I feel like an idiot for not noticing earlier

Someone liked the rims and/or tires that your truck came with and the dealer swapped tires or rim/tire assembly to make the sale. A lot of times, nobody but the sales people knew it happened.

That was VERY common when I was in the business...I like this car, but want those wheels...sure, no problem, the wash rack night crew will swap those for you right away...

I don't want to think about how many cars and trucks I swapped wheel on in the few years I worked at that dealership.

Actually... Goodyear advertises the SRA's as an all-season tire, but Chevrolet considers them an all-terrain tire.

If you go back to you dealer and look at the other new trucks, you'll find SRA's on the ones marked with the all-terrain option.

I don't get it either, but thats what I came up with.

When I ordered my truck I got the heavy tow package and the computer said I got a tire upgrade with that, when the truck came in it had those SRA's on it. Don't know what happened to my upgrade? I wasn't long getting rid of those tires for some 2KO's.

I'm going to bring this up with my dealer. My thinking is they owe me 350, new tires, or ?

Yeah I know. ... good luck with that! I'll report back after Fri.

I am guessing they owe you nothing as it has been said before the SRAs are classified as AT tires (not saying I agree)

Unfortunately, there are 2 Goodyear tires that carry the SRA name. One is an all season, the other is a sudo AT. But the up charge is BS. They need to produce cash or legit AT tires. There are older discussions concerning this as well.

I have a '15 z71 that has the SRA's on them. I bought it used, but I was ticked when a few days later I noticed that the tires didn't say AT but said All Season on the sidewall. Heck, they're P-rated tires not even LT. I'm not sure what they're an upgrade from, but I can't imagine a tire less suited to an off-road truck.

I can't find any evidence that anyone other than Chevy considers this an AT tire. Goodyear's description of them is this:

Our best tire for highway driving with enhanced traction, optimized tread wear and handling on wet roads - complemented by a quiet ride. Trusted for original equipment on leading pick-up trucks. https://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires/wrangler-sr-a

At any rate, I'll just replace them with something better when they wear out, or I lift it.

I had the 20-inch versions come on my 2015 Denali as All Terrain option. Tires shook at 55 mph. Dealer road force balance tires and there was no improvement. Went a a Goodyear dealer and same thing, he could not balance out the shaking. So I had Michelin LTX M/S2 tires installed and no more shaking. That was about 30,000 miles ago.

It clearly states all season on tire and window sticker says all terrain. I don't care what GM "considers" them, I care about the truth

So 3600 miles later and you just noticed this???
