I have finally gotten around to installing the DQS tow mirrors on my 2016 Ltz 2500 6.0 gasoline truck. After hours of trial and error of trying to figure out exactly where the wires go, I have completed the modification. Only to find out that sometime during the installation, I must have touched the wrong wires together and now my driver side tail light and driver side front marker/parking light are out. All other lights are working as well as power fold. It got dark on me but I’m thinking it may be a fuse. Anyone else encounter this or have any suggestions on where to check in the morning for the cause? Fuse number, etc.?

Just the driver side?

Yes, only the driver side.

Check Fuse #29.  F29UA.  This fuse in the Under Hood Fuse Block X50A.  The Driver Side Fuse Block under the hood.  Shows to be the Left Park Lamp Circuit.

This fuse was in fact the culprit. Thank you again, pgamboa, for I was only able to do this mod with your help via videos/pictures in conjunction with some of my own research, plus another guy on youtube. I would suggest to anyone else wanting this mod to purchase the plug n play harnesses from you as soon as they order their mirrors! I was able to use the extra wiring and “pins” that came with the aftermarket mirrors after dismantling their connectors but it was a little time consuming.

Doesn’t the chevy body style go from 2007-2014 years.   Would the 2014 mirrors work?

Check these out. PART #: 1AMRP01811 from 1Aauto. Doesn’t look like they’ll have driver dim though.
