2014-2017: DL8, DL3, Towing Mirror Upgrade – Mirrors Explained

I have a 16 All Terrain with heated, memory, power fold, reverse tilt, auto dimming, etc. Looking at ordering these:

What harness would I need? Sorry if it was covered already in this thread but there is a TON of info here.

 

Btw I'm located up in Manitoba Canada, I'm assuming you'll ship cross border?

This is one of the only mirrors I know out there that supports Mirror Memory. There is one other model but think that one just comes with chrome caps.

 

Yes - I can ship to Canada. The harness set shipped to Canada is an add'l $47. However, this mirror would also need customization to its connector. I perform this service for +$100 but I have not shipped a 35lbs (50lbs. billable) box to the Canada so I don't know the shipping cost for that.

That mirror, # 1AMRP01787 says manual operation and #1AMRP01786 says power fold, etc?

Thanks! There are no Power Telescoping Tow Mirrors out for these trucks. OEM mirrors are also manual telescoping.

How is the the quality compared to the OEM ones? These are $524 for a pair while the cheapest DQS runs like $450 each and caps are chrome which I prefer black. I think I will give them a shot. PM me for the harness please. Thanks

PM Sent. Mirrors are made very well. I had the opportunity to take them apart and compare the parts side by side. I've only tested the 1A Mirrors for short periods of time and mainly of functionality. I noticed a little vibration on the upper mirror and have attributed that to not installing the 4th stud. I've also heard OEM mirrors also have a slight vibration on the upper.
