Dang Dealer :(

I get it...accidents happen, we're all human...but if you slap an oil change sticker on fresh tint, then use a razor scraper to remove it and take a chunk of tint off in the process, just say something. No worries, I'll have it re-tinted....but if you slap a new sticker over it and pretend it never happened, I'm going to notice, and you're going to see me at 0700 tomorrow.

Most dealerships open at 0900. So bring coffee and a blanky

If the dealer did this to your glass, imagine what kind of service they did changing the oil. Get up under the truck to see if something is not hanging or if the oil plug is loose. Regardless of your conversation tomorrow, don't take your truck back there for service.

You sound like a very reasonable person. I'm sure you'll hear what they have to say before you give up on the dealership. The first thought that came to my mind was young, new mechanic starting off with doing oil changes. - First experience with tinted windows and fearful of reporting his mistake! Who knows? Let us know how this turns out!

Im not OP but I have 70 ceramic on mine.

My eyebrow tint has always been darkened within the window, that's all that's allowed on the front windshield in Texas. Most oil change stickers I've dealt with are peal off. The machanic the op dealt with must be real bright.

might not be want you want, but you may be able to get a free oil change or some free service out of this. if it is a reputable dealership, they will make it right. good luck!

Every vehicle I own has factory uv protection with or without tint, wonder if your paying for something you already have. Same with eyebrow tint, came with my rides from the factory. Look at the writing on your windshield.

Might be illegal for you, but it is not illegal across the country. For example, in Texas, its perfectly legal across the top, and clear UV film is legal across the entire windshield.
