I know what you mean. I'm just hoping to recoup some of that $100 from ebay with my old charging module. lol

Good luck. They are practically worthless. As another member has done, it is best used as a ugly paper weight.

Big thanks to Pgamboa for the wiring harness.  My charging unit arrived yesterday and I just installed it and it works great!

The only thing I would change in the harness is make it about 4 inches longer so that the white connector is in the center console and not have to stuff back under the lid.

Thansk for the feedback! If you give me an estimated length, I can update this moving forward.

This is how another member cleaned his up.

4 to 5 more inches will allow it in the console at the bottom of the hinge. I did what this other member did that you posted, but it was a tight fit. My vehicle is a 2017 Yukon Denali so not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I appreciate the feedback! I am also making these all a 4-Pin wire hanress to accommodate the Fault Indicator Control circuit (pin 4) found on Colorado and Canyons. So the feedback is much appreciated! I want to make these as cross compatible as possible, providing the most flexibility.

So the factory console harness end would plug into mine, below the hinge. Is that right?

For trucks, that ends up in the rear of the console.

Got back from a work trip and decided to tackle the pinning the connector to fit the 2018 module. Pin 1 Violet, pin 2 black and pin 3 green. @pgamboa if you could let me know if this the correct pinning order I would appreciate it and thanks for the assistance.

Could someone who has the new module (13521066) please let me know how much deeper/taller it is compared to last year's version? It looks to me like the connector slot sticks out an inch or so from the bottom. I'm looking to install into a 2017 Impala and there is some free space below the existing module but not too much. Thanks

Someone posted part # 13507652, but no one seemed to have a pic of it. That’s when the actual module part # 13521066 started to surface.

I don’t have a pic of 13507652. The bottom two modules here are the same.

Hi Phil

I admire what you have done and really like the wiring harness you have made.  What is the plug type on the original (2015-2017) charging module?

Let me look that up when I’m back at my desk. I think I ordered some by accident and it was going to cost more to send it back than the cost of the connector.

Thanks Phil.  I am looking for a female end to make a single harness similar to what you have for my new 2018 charging module.  If you have one you’d like to sell me, I would be happy to buy it.

    • Because single shot injectors are ancient and multi hole injectors provide smoother running engines and sharper throttle response due to the fuel being atomized better..the best lead I have is a 24lb blue top injector almost everything matches up but the injector will put out about 26lb/hr which is just outside the gm threshold.figured id ask here to see if there was an absolute answer
    • Why is my question?   Any change in injectors requires a tune. Unless you are going back with the OEM part number or a newer part number of that same injector.   Any size difference or type difference like the EV6 style injectors all have different injector data for them. And there is no EV6 injector that matches the factory 25 lb/hr size that your truck comes with. I've been messing with these trucks and tuning them for a long time and what you trying to do doesn't exactly make sense to me.
    • My 6.6 gas lt8 had lifter noise with 28000 miles bought new 2026 and while driven to dealer it threw #1 rod bearing “HD my ass” good luck with yours i hope it don’t turn a rod bearing!
    • When a condition becomes a business model.    https://www.gm-trucks.com/gm-truck-suv-incentives-pricing-2026/   Zane posted this in "Latest Articles".    The honest bottom line   Truck buyers have spent three years assuming this is a temporary condition that will break once inventories normalize. GM just presented it to investors as a durable strategy, on a chart, as evidence of good management.   Inventory did normalize. GM is at 511,000 units and squarely inside its own 50 to 60 day target. The discounts still did not come back, because the low incentive number is the goal rather than a symptom of shortage.   Plan your purchase around that reality instead of waiting for it to change. Follow our ongoing GM News coverage for pricing and incentive changes as the next-generation trucks land.
    • Thought it was raining this morning when we woke. Nope. Dew point was over 80 F and humidity 98%. Zero visibility distance. Everything was 'sweating'. I've seen rain come out of clouds but never out of Pepper or the tree trunks.    Wicked storms just missed us sliding off to the east but by blocks. Heat index about 110 F with air temp in the 90's.    This is  our third wave this month of multiple days of this type of weather. And yet the grass is going dormant and the ground is cracking this side of the street and water up the the hood opposite. Just weird stuff going on.
