I looked into this when I got my truck. It is possible, but I gave up due to cost alone. OEM new LTZ lights are like $1000+ for each one, might even be $1500 each, I don't remember exactly. You can find them used on eBay for $700 or so each, but they normally came off wrecked trucks and have some broken brackets or scratches. After that, you just need the resistors to make the LED turn signals work properly. I believe there is also some adapter needed for the headlamps as well since the LTZ uses LED bulbs instead of HID like the LT models. The colored trim just snaps off so you could swap it or just paint it to match again.

yep I did the same thing when I was looking into new trucks. I could've cared less for all the other things the LTZ has besides the sweet headlights. but the lights are huge money and then you have to buy the correct wiring for them so I gave up on it and bought a used high country. The aftermarket needs to make this an easy swap

just have to buy the new headlights and then also get a harness as the LTZ are LED and the LT are HID.

selling your old LT headlights will help offset the cost of the new ones.

No harness needed. I converted mine. They plug right in. You just need to install a load resistor from the turn signal circuit to ground on each headlight so the turn signal won't hyper flash. In a way they are plug and play

They are plug and play.

Plug in your credit card number online when you buy them.

I’m doing this exact upgrade. Just make sure the headlight bezel is painted/primed already if you plan on color matching and getting rid of chrome.

I bought my headlight harness from PGamboa. Works flawlessly.

The ones I’m purchasing are chrome but I’m going to get them painted to color match the truck since it’s the z71 so no chrome up front. I’ll message pg now to get that ball rolling thank you.

I’d really recommend ditching the chrome bezels and get a painted set and sand them or get a primed set off a WT/new purchase.

In 6-9 months you’d start to see the paint flake.

Headlights should be plug and play, just have to install a resistor on the turn signal wire to not get hyper flash. Believe it was a 3 ohm resistor.

Anyone buy the lenses from Klearz and switch them out? It means taking apart the LT headlamp assembly but the cost would only be $180, which I think is crazy for two pieces of plastic.
