Red and white. Had fiberglass rear hatch and removable rear seat. The 318 was Mopars workhorse back then like GMs 350 and Fords 289. Leaf springs front and rear. Turning radius like a Jeep. Mine was bulletproof. Was a freeway driver and off roader. Had a Confer roof rack for the gear. Manual locking hubs. I know they made um with the 340. Not sure about a 383/440 version. The pics are in a picture collage my daughter made for me.

I have never even opened the cover on my sunroof and I can't imagine more gizmos than my Denali has. Too lazy to Google, but I believe the Denali is the only truck with magnetic ride control. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. I will never buy another truck without it or something similar. If the Ferd doesn't have it, it's WAY behind.

Was thinking about a vette as a midlife crisis car, then a dentist I know told me he just got a raptor. Im a gm guy, but those are fast. I went to the raptor forum and quickly found everyone complaining of oil leaks on their brand new trucks. Serveral other issues had one member chime in with, "I dont like chevys, but maybe ford could hire one of their qc people." All I needed to hear...

I have the best of both worlds. For work, I have my Super Duty (after 2500hds continually let me down) and for play/grocery getting we have our Sierra. I really like both, but Ford has a more "truck" like feel to me, and that's not just 1500, but 2500, 3500 too for sure. They all make good trucks, it all boils down to personal preference anymore...

Same here

Yeah unless ya know, going to 2nd after 1st and then 3rd and all the rest isn't what's supposed to happen then I'm pretty sure my transmission is fine.

Unless I'm wrong this is just a concept though right?

They really don't make them like they used to do they? The one I almost got was also 2-tone, blue and grey. Too cool of a truck.

yeah exactly lol. how many transmission shifting weird threads are there on here? about as many as chevy shake threads.

trans might shift fine with 20k on the odo, once you guys get 80k get back to me on that lol

my 14 high country shakes, shifts weird, and seat clicks. these trucks are garbage and chevy cant even find a fix for shaking and trans issues

Feel sorry for you man....my truck does none of those things as has been pretty solid with 57K now on the odometer. Truck has been as solid, if not better than the 2007 Tacoma it has replaced.

My 15 Sierra has almost 106k and doesn't have any of those problems

Sure the transmission will shift through the gears if that's all that's expected. Mine needs to think a couple seconds before downshifting, and then finds the wrong gear. Sure it shifts, but is unresponsive slow and clunky about doing so. Really limits any fun to drive factor.
