Need Vanity Plate Help

So, CA is lame we all know. I really want the black plates, and finally had a good idea for a custom one. Filled out and waited 2 months. Got denial letter today. Plate was

 

FSHDSUX

 

Ha. Was a long shot but still.

 

FSHD is the term for the type of Muscular Dystrophy I have, stands for FacioScapuloHumeral Muscular Dystrophy. I thought it would be a cool plate and personal term.

 

So, I still want the black plates, but need ideas!

If it were me I would donate the money to a cause of your choice or buy some good beer. Giving Ca extra money for black plates to me isn't worth it. Registration alone is 10 times more than most other states already.

True, not worth it at all. Ive always wanted the black/yellow plate though and its only $40 a year so... lol

Why didn't they approve the plate? I like it, been fighting cancer for about 16 months....F*&^Cancer would be my choice.

I actually called the number on the letter to ask why lol. They said someone will call me back next week and I can explain it, so I may still get it!

Here in Alaska on the application there is a space to "define" the plate...probably saves some confusion.
