Still enjoying these handles. The lights are very subtle, but cool nonetheless. I actually like the contrast of the chrome, so I have no plans as of now to get them painted.

I finally received the correct connectors from Mouser, but don’t know if I want to remove the panels one more time. Lol.

I wouldn't bother with it. but if you do, you might as well go put some sound deadening in while you're in there. that would be the only reason i would take the panels off again.

@pgamboa I pulled my door handle off the other day to inspect the wiring on my Yukon, but either didn't have enough slack or it was hung on something. I'm considering going the easy route and swapping in Escalade door harnesses. I've got the driver door on order to make sure it will work (I also have an ulterior motive to get the camera feed from the Esky mirrors to the door jamb connector). My handles arrive tomorrow...just need to have them painted.

Which connectors came in from back order?

So, I was bartending last nite, and a regular customer came in with his Escalade...first time I ever saw it and it had the lit door handles.  I was like, "ooohh...there has to be a way to adapt these to our trucks..."

If I had to guess, I knew it was you that was going to do it...

Here's the connectors I used.  It didn't occur to me to check the measurements of the door opening prior to getting these.  I had to shave off the little tab in order to get it through the door.

@pgamboa I got the driver's Esky door harness installed and everything functions properly. The only difference I saw is the connector for the door handle. It's keyed differently than the one on my OE harness. However, it does fit the Esky door handle connector perfectly.

You can barely see the difference in keying. My OE one is the closer to you.

Very nice! Looks like I wasn’t far off with how GM did it and how I did it :).
