I tried this tool and didn’t have much luck with it. I went with the official T&E tool beside of the amount of use I get out of it.

What crimp tool are you using?

I’m use to use an Engineering PA-09 Crimp tool but use the ratcheting GM crimp tool.

you can use needle nose pliers if you want.

You know the OCD in me cannot use needle nose pliers. [emoji23]

So you'd recommend the PA-09 instead of the PA-20?

Except for me and anyone else that buys from me. :)

You're right. I have the PA-20. I had PA-09 as well but found the crimp sleeves were too large for my use..If i remember.

As many harnesses as you make, the crimpers are an absolute no doubt. but for one offs, needle nose pliers would work fine.

I used the PA-20 crimper for a several months before finally deciding to get the ratcheting crimper.

I may try to tackle some of this, this weekend if the kids cooperate. or at least get the door panels taken off.

I was hoping to get away with not painting the top piece. And so far I'm really liking the small contrast. So I'm going to stick with the chrome for now.

I will say that wiring these up is not as easy as Phil makes it out to be. Be prepared for a lot of work to get these to work. I skipped some of the cosmetic stuff ie, wrapping the wires in the factory harness, etc just to save some time. But one rear door took me the better part of 4 hrs when it was all said and done.
