I had found those. I'll keep looking. I really want to find the one that the Service Manager has told me about on several occasions where GM said DON'T replace them. That's what they've offered me so far. Replacements.

I often wonder if GM will EVER get it's act together.  Gotta love it ... :sigh:

Anything they build POORLY, I WILL complain about - you can count on that.

Anything that is acting like it shouldn't be on a brand new $35k truck, I will complain about. Coils, leaves, air ride, magnets, water beds. I don't care what it is.

I realize this isn't a huge deal. My truck runs and doesn't leave me stranded on the side of the road. I'm not comparing it to that. That doesn't mean I am happy that I paid the money I did and I'm having this issue.

My dad and brother just grabbed '16 Rams last summer. My brother had a couple issues after 10k miles, like rust spots on front bumper, and a leaky transfer case seal - much better track record than my Silverado had at the same mileage. My dad hasn't had an issue yet (brother's truck VIN starts with a 3 ... Mexico, dad's starts with a 1, USA ... so that could be part of it).

Also one of my best friends just bought a 17 Ram 1500 a few months back. Already has an exhaust system on it. Those Hemis always sound great when they're allowed to breathe.

If I were going to buy new again, Ram or Toyota would be my only 2 choices. I'd probably end up with the Ram due to it's comparative size.

The Ram is bigger, or smaller? I don't really like the look of the Tundra. I especially don't like the interior. The ram is much more affordable. I guess it all depends on how long it takes these springs to start squeaking.

Interior seems quite a bit bigger than the GMs. Haven't really seen enough Tundras to make an accurate comparison there.
