Any issues with levels OTHER than Rough Country?

I was reading about this issue with the stamped steel control arms on ReadyLift's website yesterday. I am currently running the 2.25" level kit and am now wondering if I should be considering getting the upgraded upper control arms in the near future to replace my stamped steel ones. I haven't had any issues so far but would like to keep it that way.

I have the stamped UCAs as well and after reading the comments on this forum decided to purchase ReadyLift 2.25" kit with the upgraded control arms (just ordered this week).  I live on a dirt road and do some occasional light off-roading, so didn't want to take a chance.  A good bit more money for those upgraded UCAs, but didn't want to have to worry about driving down my dirt road and having the ball joint pop out!

I had a 2.5 rough country level on my 2014 Silverado 1500.  It made a clicking sound when I turned the wheel and only when it was warm.   Cold it was silent.   I took it out and I've read up that a 2in level alone won't do it.   I'm debating on putting that back in this weekend.   I have aluminum arms by the way.

ReadyLift 2.25” level with UCA’s on my 17’ Z71. Been running it for about 2 weeks, rides good no complaints, although my truck is not daily driven. Still in the process of upgrading tires

So it sounds like there is a definite risk with the stamped steel control arms and lifts up over 2-2.5", but what if you have cast/forged steel control arms? Any known issues there?

Looks good! Did you measure to see if you got a true 2.25” of lift or +/-

i have had the Rough Country 2 inch level on the front of mine for over 30,000 miles without issue.  I have the cast steel control arms.  I do some off roading too here and there.
