They might be 16”. Inch springs on mine it’s been a while. But I for certain have in my notes that they’re 700 lbs spring rate. I don’t have a lift just leveled to about 2.6 inches of lift.

You should be able to see it in your work order, Stock UCA’s?

How did the install go? Still enjoying the 2.5's?

How hard is the install for coilovers if you still have the UCA droop stops in? Do you have to use a spring compressor before you unbolt the top ball joint?

Once I figured out the lower shock mount has to go in a specific direction it was easy. The shocks are great. I’m .org I ever wasted money on the Icons , but the Fox shocks are great and a drastic improvement.

The UCA droops do not make a deference on the installation of the install. But I have the shocks with 5.3 inches of travel. That is more than standard. A spring compressor is not needed but does make adjusting the ride height easier.

Good to know. So basically just unbolt everything and pull out what's there, and reverse the process for putting new one in?

This may be true with the Foxes, But with the King extended travel and cogito arms you need to remove the perches to get full down travel where you can gain an additional 2" of travel. I you don't cut them the arms will just sit on the perches when extended and loose some available travel. Does make a difference in that application and may in yours too if you didn't actually check/cycle it.

Yea the install of the Fox shocks were after I had installed the Dirt King UCA and Icons. I cut my stops at that point. I included it in my right up.

I may of not been clear. With Shocks that have 4.5 inches of travel one most likely does not need to cut the stops. I have the 5.3 inch travel shocks and UCA one must cut the stops to be able to utilize the full travel of the components.

Thanks for making it clear, didn't want people to think with extended travel shocks and arms you don't have to cut if you want it right. Dirt King makes some awesome stuff, I just found out that they are pretty close to where I am. Which is funny cause most of the Off road MFG's have bailed out of California. Those arms look stout.

Thanks sometimes I forget people do not have the same reference point that I do when I make a statement.

Yes the dirt kings are really stout. They have been great. Just make sure to keep everything lined especially the bushings, or they get squeaky.

Going with the fox 2.5 non resi and cognito (balljoint) setup and MRT offers the set of coilovers for a little over 1k with the promo code. Would you recommend going through accutune vs off the shelf? About a $400 difference but I wouldn't mind paying up knowing i'd be getting a properly tuned setup for my vehicle.

I would say yes the accutune guys have built two sets of shocks for me. One for my truck and one for my sisters Colorado. If you can get the corner weights of your truck. They will compare them to the setups they’ve built and tuned on site. See what you want to use them for and valve them. They send the valve stack design to fox and then fox drops them into the shocks they build you and drop ship them to your house. At less that was my experience.
