I'd like to hear your impressions on the mirrors.  They appear to be similar to a set available on Amazon.  They are different looking than oem and I have been considering a set.

I like them for the most part. I only wish they were power folding like the stock ones. would give the wife a piece of mind parking in the garage.

Lol did you seriously attribute Suicide to Snow? Haha. Canadian here, we love winter. Give me my 800 two stroke, 2" paddles and 4 feet of powder and ice in June and I would be the happiest man on earth. Still currently -15c at night here, still making ice in Mid-April this year. May be ice fishing for the walleye opener in May this year for the first time in over 30 years. Global warming my @$$.

My first inkling is the tow mirrors. If you have the NHT (max tow), it will have tow mirrors, larger axles (same as 6.2L), an auxillery trans cooler, 18" wheels and LT D tires (I think), monotube shocks and stiffer springs. You can look for the aux. cooler or check the build sheet/run the Vin# online to see if it came with the NHT package. Otherwise the 1st owner may have just upgraded the mirrors. It is a difficult swap than not too many owner do, which makes me believe you may have got an NHT. They may be aftermarket mirrors upon closer inspection?

Those are not the factory tow mirrors, they look aftermarket.  I would have to say it does not have the NHT package.

I don't believe Z71 is available with NHT package.

I bought the “cheap ones” (factory clones) for my 01 2500hd from 1A auto 8-9 years ago cause at that time factories were 500ish and these were under 300. Not sure if these are the same but if they are the top mirror on both sides have a slight shake to them going over 50mph since new but the bottoms are good and the drivers side where it slides in & out has worked slightly loose over the years. If I drove that truck everyday the shake would drive me nuts.
