USED DENALI-New memeber looking for help

Hi Folks, I'm looking at 2015 CPO, with 25,500 miles on it here in CT. 5.3 6 speed 3.42 gear. Truck is very clean but no moonroof. Not a deal breaker though. Any idea on a fair price for this truck. Dealer has it at $39k and it has been sitting since spring. Thanks in advance for your opinions.-Steve

Seems a little high too me.  Check book value for trade in and see what they likely have in it.  Of course they need to make some money ey to stay in business, but you should be able to get it 2-3k over trade in.

I dont know if you are set on a Denali but I picked up my 2018 SLT CC 6.5 foot bed for a few thousand less then that used truck.

Hey Steve, welcome to the forum! I would say that price is a bit high, I paid a little less than that for my CPO 2018 Silverado LTZ with only 2700 miles. Full blown retail on that Denali is probably around $38k. If I were you I'd do some digging around and find a comparable vehicle at a better price and use that as some leverage. I would also seriously recommend taking a look at a 2018 LTZ or SLT, they are giving the these things away right now for less than $39k because of the 2019's coming out.

Happy hunting and good luck!

I just bought one a month ago. though it has moon roof, they had it priced at dealer 35,900 with 35k miles. Only had it a week when I bought it, brought it home for 34,500. So I would agree, that's a little high. Check NADA book price.

Thanks guys. Greatly appreciated. I made an offer today and they countered but no bueno. the hunt continues.

that CPO is a cash grab, dealers typically make more money on used vehicles anyways.

Buy a new Denali, factory rebates etc..., better lights, new radio, etc... 2018's will be greatly reduced in favor of the new 2019's. hold out for a 6.2 its easily worth the extra dough to have one.

Was this a GM dealership?  If it was, did they not try to get you interested in an '18?  Having premium priced used vehicles on the lot can make the choice to go new much easier!

I just looked at a 2018 SLT Crew cab 5.3 8 speed w/ 3:42 gears for 39K brand new. GM money ended it's now 42,500 as the dealer just called regarding. That Denali is overpriced especially with a 5.3. Denali guys want that 6.2.

LOL I special ordered my Denali with no sunroof and no power floorboards as they ALL had on Dealer lots! Sunroofs too hot in south Florida!! LOL

I stand corrected fine sir! Lol

Here in Missouri, sunroof/moonroofs help welcome in warm spring after harsh winters.

I Love the one in my Sierra.
