After a month of modifications it's finally here:

2019 Chevy Silverado RST, 5.3L 4x4 in Summit White (angry storm trooper edition)

List of Mods:

- 6 inch BDS Suspension Lift with Fox Racing Shocks

- 35 inch Nitto Tires

- 20 inch Fuel Wheels

- Custom black paint on the center cap of the Fuel wheels to completely black them out and cover the badging

- Amp Research retractable running boards

- Under Cover Lux color matched bed cover

- Debadged handle of the Under Cover Lux bed cover

- Painted the handle of the Under Cover Lux bed cover (black to summit white)

- Painted the black portion of the tailgate with the back up camera (black to summit white)

- Painted the shark fin antenna (black to summit white)

- Painted the chrome around the boarder of the front Bow Tie (chrome to summit white)

- Replaced the horrible looking and giant radio antenna with a short stubby one

- 3m tint on all windows to include the front wind shield

- Removed the RST lower bumper and replaced it with the lower bumper off a High Country.  We then took the chrome portion and painted it summit white and wrapped it in paint protection film.

- Fully debadged the entire truck to give it that nice clean look

- GM Branded Borla Exhaust.  OF NOTE:  The exhaust note on the GM Branded Borla is CONSERVATIVE to say the least!  A little too conservative for my liking.  After having an Eisenmann Race Exhaust on our BMW X5M, my wife won't let me have anything loud....)

- We cut the pipe on the GM Branded Borla Exhaust so it would remain under the truck and not be visible.

- Replaced license plate lights with LEDs

- Replaced back up lights with LEDs

- Custom made clear corner lenses in the front headlights

- Disabled the orange running lights behind the clear corners

- Replaced the orange turn signal bulbs with a chrome plated ones.  This eliminates the orange reflection that standard bulb gives off

- Spray on bed liner

- Spray on bed liner in the rear wheel wells.  This added protection and blacked out the area.

- Removed the "chin guard" under the lower front bumper

- Removed the cheap looking mud flaps.  I have color matched plugs on order to fill in the holes on the side of the truck.

- Installed the "Auto Start/Stop Eliminator"

- Installed the Escort 360C using a blend mount under the rear view mirror.  The radar detector is hard wired into the power supply behind the rear view mirror.

- Installed the Escort M1 Dashcam.  This is a direct add on to the Escort 360C.

- Relocated the "Apple Carplay USB" from the dash into the center console.  This was challenging due to the fact that my Silverado has the bench seating up front.

- Removed the ugly warning stickers from the sun visors.  Minor mod, but it bugs the crap out of me...

List of up and coming mods:

- GM Branded Cold Air Intake

- 4 Layer Ceramic Pro Coating

- USB Plug to replace the one that was relocated to the center console.

- 2 Sets of Escort ZR5 Laser Shifters that will connect with the Escort 360C

- Gap Guards to cover the small gap in the rear wheel well

- Color matched plugs to fill in the holes left behind by the plastic mud flaps

Looks great. Any plans on the mirrors?

Painting the Mirrors?  What are you thinking?  =)

Super jealous of your clear corner markers in the headlights!

Did the headlights get assembled back together ok? Any issues?

I really want to add those to mine but had a bad experience on my Tundra when I did an HID retrofit and had major fogging problems in the headlights

Btw- great build!!

Maybe Summit white mirror caps? Not sure if anything is available yet, but tow mirrors painted summit white would look great.

Just curious if the items listed above render your front turn signals as white only?

As far as I know that is not legal around here, only headlights/foglights can be white on the front of the vehicle.

What brand antenna is that and does it work as well as the stock?  I'm tired of the stock one hitting the entrance of my garage when  I go in \ out.

Really nice job, looks great!   Thanks for sharing with us.

Still have orange turn signals.  The bulb has a chrome plate but still lights orange when engaged.

Found them on the Chevy website:  https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/2019/Chevrolet/Silverado 1500/outside-rearview-mirror-covers-in-white-84469250

Thanks for the recommendation!  I went ahead and ordered them.

    • Brought my 2015 Colorado into the dealership to check my touch screen issues, had that ghost touch thing happening. They said I needed a new touch screen and they could either order me one for $500. The lady at the service deck was nice enough to tell me I could order a touch screen online for less, she did stipulate that the touch screen had to be factory OEM, you can't pair an aftermarket screen to my radio seeing it was 2015, it had to be a GM factory OEM only. I found a few on Amazon and Ebay by the numbers on the back of the old screen, DJ080PA-01A GM# 22740886, Some said "OEM" in the description and others just said "Replacement". Would a replacement be the same as a OEM as long as it had the same numbers on the back of the screen? In some of the descriptions they also show different brand names but same numbers, is that an issue?
    • I have both but typically use the 4 legged walker (wheels on front, ski's on back).   The four wheeler is starting to be used on "longer" outdoor walks.  The 4 legged walker is particularly helpful in practicing good walking posture.  Both of my knees are at different stages of recovery and I'm trying to not develop poor habits.  I can actually manage with a cane but it's very difficult not to favor one leg over the other.  My PT recommends I continue with my 4 legged walker for a while.  Yesterday was four weeks since my last knee replacement and I'm excited about my progress to date.  It has been a hell of a rough journey so far but it is exciting to witness  systematic and continuous improvement.  I went for years watching the decline of my "mobility".  It seems that everyday now I am alerting my wife to something I can do now that I couldn't a day or two ago!  I encourage anyone facing the prospect of knee replacement to share any concerns with others who have had the surgery.  It isn't an instant fix but rather is a considerable amount of short term pain for long term gain.  Recovery time and pain levels vary for individuals post surgery but the end results are typically very positive and I've never encountered anyone regretting having had the surgery.
    • The lifter issue can be dealt with by shorter oil changes and quality oil IMO.
    • Got heavy rain, hail and light rain yesterday.
    • I'm putting in an A-pillar pod/gauges, and I'm asking if anybody can identify a (preferably) fuse for a switched power and illumination circuit on the driver's side interior fuse panel. Offhand, everything I checked with a test light was constant-hot, and I'd much rather uses a piggyback fuse. I can certainly find a wire, but I'd rather not half-tap.   Thanks in advance for any help.
