Tennessee Chevy Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Does anyone have an svg or jpeg for these letters?
Codeman00 Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 I went with Black w/ Red Outlined Tailgate decals for my Black RST. (A friend at work did all red letters and I wanted to do something different since our trucks are almost identical) I think it's much better than stock but more subtle than all red. 3

Love that look, I'd love to find something matching the Cajun Red with black outlines, just the opposite of what you have for mine. 1

That would be nice! I was just thinking the same thing, but I went with the blackout flag ones. I still need to wash the truck and install them.

Check out the site and tell them what you are looking for..
Divide Wee Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 I used the raised black metalflake on my Shadow Grey. More subtle in low light. 1
econometrics Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Just bought some matte black BDTrims letters on Amazon (not Prime, though. ). I think they're going to look great on my Satin Steel RST, but I'm still a little hesitant. I'll tape them up first to see if I want to go ahead and adhere them. I think adding these is going to make my chrome "Silverado" and "RST" pop out more, though. I guess those will be the next black-out mods... then the chrome dual exhaust tips... then the front chrome Z71 badges... Lol
Dunn Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 they peel off pretty easily if you don't like em , and they are cheap to buy so not much of a loss either way
Dunn Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 (edited) why does everyone black out their license plate?....everyone else in your neighborhood knows it and where you live and i sure as heck am not going to north Carolina to steal a few shovels in someones garage,lol…... If I don't like them, I can send them back to Amazon and get that $ back to put towards my upcoming Rancho replacement, once Bilstein gets their act together and finally releases the 5100.

Paranoia. I've wondered this myself for years. They don't want us to know their plate number because they think we have a spy in the DMV who can run the number and give us their address. Hundreds of folks on the road see it everyday so that theory don't hold water. If they are showing details of the belongings in their garage, I guess I get it....but pics of just the truck, no. What it amounts to is one person started doing this long ago and now most of the internet followed suit (think lemmings) thinking it must be a good idea.

OR... there's some of us who like to keep our levels of online identity private. E.g. you know me as Econometrics, and I live in Texas. But, what if I shared a pic with my truck and license plate? Now you can go back and connect my face with my postings online, along with other comments I have made if you ever see my truck driving around town, or run into me somewhere. Some of us just have a higher desire for privacy. We're not worried about you stealing our trucks or shovels. Edited January 13, 2020 by econometrics 1
