SPORT MODE MAYBE!!!!!

On my 2019 LTZ Z71 Silverado there is a round control nob on the left upper side of the dash, as you face the steering wheel. It has a trailer marked on it for turning it left and a racing flag to turn it to the right. Anyone know what this exactly does? I was told it is a sport mode.

There's been a thread on this already. Sport mode lowers gearing, has quicker shift points, the engine RPM's are increased and steering is also heavier. It downshifts quicker too so RPM's are kept at peak.

Sport mode definitely makes a very noticeable difference. I just wish it would stay in sport every time the truck's power is cycled. It's still an awesome addition to the trucks.

Tow haul turning left? What truck do you have? Left on my RST is snow/ice mode and tow/haul is a push button.

I'm guessing that you have 2 wheel drive. 4 wheel drive puts all modes on the rotary switch.

Gotcha, so the 4wd has a 3 position rotary for sport, snow/ice and tow?

I have Tour, Sport, Off-Road and Tow Haul on my 4 Wheel Drive. Snow Mode is specific to 2 wheel drive.

I live in FL. Trucks sold here have snow-mode deleted from the factory.

Function depends on your model. It's clearly explained in the manual. Sport mode feels good, but I can't really tell, since I only have 1000 miles on mine, and everything is still super tight. Tow/Haul worked great while towing our 6500# travel trailer.
