infotainment?  I'm still stuck on v.509.  My dealer did a "radio" update yesterday (supposed to do 803.1), but I looked at the software version and it still reads v509.  Ugh..

509 for me too on a 2019 Sierra Denali. I sure would like to get the update.

It can be loaded by the Dealership or the vehicle will check for an authorized download frequently. GM needs to authorize the download since they do them as roll outs due to the number of vehicles. It took my vehicle several weeks to a month to receive an update after the download became active.

I went to the dealer tonight to have an update applied manually since I'm still on v206 from last August.

 

After waiting an hour, the advisor showed me a GM bulletin from the end of May that there was a known issue with the newest version 803, and all updates have been suspended until further notice.

 

So they could not apply the update even if they wanted too.

 

Guess the wait continues. And a night wasted sitting in the Chevy dealer

Oh, okay.  That's been out since March, I think?  I'm still waiting to get it..

My March built truck has 509, and when it was in the first time for the wiring harness issue I asked them to update it to 803. They told me it was at the latest.

 

I question whether it is laziness, or a lack of training/ignorance of the Infotainment 3 systems in the new GM vehicles based on a lot of what I have read here.

I know this is a little old however I am wondering if someone can give an answer. I got my 2019 Silverado RST 2 months ago and I have since been looking at the 2020 HD for my father in law. Some awesome upgrades to the interior gauges, including the HUD, and the added features on the infotainment center. Does anyone know if there will be a software update for the 1500 infotainment to recieve the added features (such as digital climate panel, etc.)
