What is the top knob for? 

 

Also so what trucks or options are needed for 360  cam. 

Truck has trailer camera pkg in mirrors.

Turn it to the left if you are towing and to the right fit sport mode. You will see a trailer in orange or green rally flags.

Thanks, so that's now tow/haul mode? Not on shifter anymore?

Nope, not on the shifter anymore.

 

LTZ, High Country, AT4 and Denali can have the 360 surround vision with the Technology Package. The trailer camera package lacks the front camera and cannot be combined with the Tech Package. Could you add the front camera after the fact? Maybe. But I don’t think anyone has yet, and the dealer probably won’t help you.

 

Side note, for 2020 the Tech Package includes trailer camera package so that’s the only way to get both 360 and the trailer camera ports.

Traded my Denali for this slt, hate the fact there is no max tow  Denali.

Yeah, and unfortunately the SLT can’t get the tech package for whatever dumb reason.

 

Either way, you’ll have no regrets with the 6.2/10 speed/max tow!

Partial to gm I guess. Hate the Chevrolet wheel wells. Really just learned about the 360 camera.

 

Just needed 6.2 max tow standard box anything else didn't much matter.

Wait, the knobs are rubber coated in the lower trim models?! I hate the cheap “aluminum” finished plastic ones in my AT4. Are they the same for the climate controls/stereo?

Those are Chevy knobs in the pic. All GMCs have the ugly aluminum things regardless of trim.

Agreed! I'll take the black in the Chevy's every day over the cheap-o looking aluminum/silver trimming.
