With the TC you get the same airflow at every actual throttle position. The X axis is the blade angle/opening, not pedal depression.

Try area under the curve Mike? They are not getting it.

Liken your TC units to a camshaft. The throttle blade to the valve seats and ports. If you can visualize that then you might be inclined to see that you can shape the valve seats OR you can add a cam with a quicker ramp rate or DO BOTH. THEN tune the combination. If you don't see the value of this product never let me hear you got a multi angle valve job or high ratio rockers. :devil:

I bought, installed, and like!

Impressions:

1) Soler offers awesome service and stand behind their product. I was picky and wanted a "like for like" part number in my swap, even though I sort of knew the older part number (pre-2018) and the newer part number 2018+, were practically the same. They had no problem with this and offered to send me another unit that was my same OEM part number.

2) the porting looks great and you can tell why this would help. They do a nice job on the finish work.

3) This is not a huge jump. It is subtle, but very noticeable. The throttle response and engine power feel quicker, and more smooth in building up to WOT. The idle at stop is smother as well.

I am not positive, but I also have less engine knock at WOT. This had developed in the last few thousand miles and was something I meant to fix with BlackBear re-tune, or further investigation. After the swap, and a couple hundred miles of driving (empty roads make good WOT runs), the ping is gone. Maybe better air flow, maybe something else.

I have the 6.2L engine with 32k, don't have a CAI, did replace the stock muffler with a MagnaFlow, removed the flapper, left the resonator, and tuned with BlackBear. I really like the truck's performance.

I'd buy the Soler TB again, and would recommend it if you have the money to spare.

Thanks, Tom. We also have a throttle controller to spice up the throttle body, and they are now FREE with your throttle body purchase.

LOL...China or not, I installed mine this week and love it so far. I've only driven on it for 2 miles but it made all the difference in the world. Felt like dropping a tooth in the rear.

they do work well, also sucks gas like a tank , thank god oil is dirt cheap now! performance parts are worth the upgrades now.

spend your money on a trans reprogram first, then buy the Spring booster or any throttle enhancer, then get a set of the beefy sway bars .....then she'l feel right

Hi Mike, I've been looking at tb's for a while. What would you recommend for my 2018 6.2 w/ 2.3 Callaway supercharger? The Lt5? What mm do you port it to?
