I order one for my 6.2L and got the free Throttle Controller. Drive-ability was vastly improved from idle to part throttle to wide open. So smooth and precise, then turned on the TC and wow is all I have to say over 30 positions to choose from, it took a while to figure the best one for me, haha, but I loved it! I was so happy at the results that I emailed Mike at Soler Performance about reworking the TB on my 2017 6.0L and he did..... It works even better on the 6.0L than the 6.2L as far as throttle response, I do not have the TC on the 6.0L but it runs so much better than before, I guess GM was starving them of air, who would have thought..... I do want to say thanks to Mike and Soler Performance great craftsmanship, fast turnaround, and great communication and knowledge. I do not regret this upgrade at all, it's subtle but well worth it!! Thanks Mike!!

i do have the throttle enhance installed, I rarely use it now, and have reverted back to the stock factory setting as I found them more relaxing to drive in the city. and it improved my MPG using oem settings.

can you add a little knife edging and mill down the shaft a bit thinner?

We do for TB's with 12mm shafts. The 5.3L TB comes with a 10mm shaft, and that would be pushing it to the unsafe side.

If you send your own it's $275 for the whole rework. If you were referring to the work on the shaft only, it is $100.

Going to try out my freshly installed throttle body... Install took less then 10 minutes, although I have a K&N intake already so there's not much to remove.

Just curious how much carbon you could see in the manifold. I had mine open the other day and there was a lot, which surprised me because it was clean last time I checked.

If anyone was thinking about getting one of these, I definitely recommend it! One of the best mods so far... Drivability is great, easy to install and price is right!

It works awesome! I have about 11000 km on the Soler Throttle body and throttle controller now. I do not have a tune on my truck yet. Every time I would start from a stop the truck had lag or a "bog" when you stepped on the gas and "tipped in" the throttle. Now that bog is completely gone, she is as smooth as silk accelerating now. It seems to like WOT better now too, haven't experienced any knock ****** since the install. I like the SP-7 setting on the TC. Economy is the same as it was factory. Recently went on a 500 km round trip, about 20-22*C outside, and it averaged 9.5 L/100 km (25 mpg). Totally worth it!

tl;dr - BUY IT

Do you have a 5.3 or 6.2?

Did you also install the throttle controller or just the new throttle body.
