Seriously considering the Go Rhino RB10 for my 2018 Sierra. The nerf bars that came on it are just too darn low. Anyone try the newer RB10 slim lines? Or are they too new? Curious how the 4” Slim Line compares to the 6” of the regular RB10’s. Other than the obvious difference of 2”. 😉

I put Westin Pro Traxx 6" oval nerf bars on my 22 LTZ. They are pretty beefy.

Yeah I considering these for my 2021 RST but being from a Midwest state.  I was wondering if they would be slippery with snow & Ice. The ones on my work truck you got a pay attention or you will bust your a**

You can get the Go Rhino's RB20's with a box liner finish. They're super grippy. Would be a good choice for the snowy areas.

Mine have the liner finish, and the grip is great.

The bedliner finish has excellent grip.

Looking for something that will help the gf get into the truck, not hit me in the back of the legs as I jump out, AND serve as somewhat of an emergency rock slider. I'm clearly not heavily offroading my standard bed crew cab, but occasionally take it places it probably shouldn't go. Do any of you have these below, and would they offer any body protection in an oh ****** moment?

1. Go Rhino Dominator D1,D6,DSS (Is the DSS too narrow? Are shoes constantly hitting the body paint a problem?)

2. Westin Outlaw Nerf Bar Step

3. Tyger Auto

4. Rough Country HD2 (Probably the least of a slider on the list)

None of those will protect your door sills.  If you want a rock slider look at something similar to what GM offers for the new ZR2.  I went with the GM high clearance off-road step on my AT4.  They don't provide any protection, but they're high and tight and won't get in the way or snag on things as much as some of the other options.

Curious if anyone has pics of installed black widow running boards? A guy local is selling them and wondering how they effect clearance compare to the ones I have now.

As far as potential vehicle upgrades go, Running Boards – and their close cousins Nerf Bars – are kind of special. They are part of a relatively small group of upgrade products that can bring both high-level aesthetic appeal and also real practical use to your car.

I have listed some of the top rated running board for your consideration. Hope you will find it useful.

1. Tyger Auto TG-AM2D20078 Star Armor Kit for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 Crew Cab; 2010-2021 2500/3500

2. MaxMate Compatible with 2009-2018 Ram 1500 Crew Cab (Including 2019-2020 Classic) - Nerf Bars

3. Tyger Auto TG-RS2D40078 RISER For 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 (Including 2019-2020 Classic) Nerf Bars Running Boards

4. APS iBoard Running Boards 5 inches Compatible with Ram (Nerf Bars Side Steps Side Bars)

5. 6" Chrome Polished Side Step Nerf Bar Running Board Replacement for Silverado Sierra

I think this will help you to find your targeted running boards. I have fount useful review and informative about running boards. You can read and analyze before making the final buying decission.

Thanks.
