Thinking about buying a used GM buyback need some feedback

I don't know if that discount is enough -- remember they are also offering big discounts on leftover new ones.

 

The truck might now be fine -- but 'do you feel lucky'?

If it is a bad one do you have the time and patience to deal with it? 

 

There are lots of trucks out there.

There are lots of deals out there. 

 

If it was me, I'd find another one.

The buyback/problems are on the carfax for the vehicle, so it's value is WAY WAY lower than what the dealer is asking.  You would be lucky to get 50% if you were to turn around and try to resell it...

What's the warranty on a supposed "buy back"?  Was it just a buy back or actually deemed a lemon?  If the problem can't be duplicated but arises again later will the warranty cover it?  Can a lemon be warrantied?
