3,000mi???  If you get that certified pre owned you will have a great warranty!   Depends on stacking offers.   People are not getting anywhere near 20% off msrp.    10% off would be good

you have a trade tho so work it to your advantage

Try to build up some equity in the Custom by paying on it for about a year and a half, or make some higher payments to knock some of the interest down and pay on the principle of the loan for a while.

Or else you're going to take a huge hit on the Custom on trade in.

Well they can sell a new one for probably $42500-$43000.  They'l want to make 3 grand on yours and will need to sell it below the new one.  So best guess $36500-$37000 trade for yours?  Just a guess

MSRP means bubkis here.

What did you actually pay for it before tax and what is the avg price for a new custom in your area?

I would take that and subtract a few thousand.

Once a vehicle crosses the curb (leaves the lot) it usually will take a 20% hit in value as a minimum.  And then, that 20% hit is probably off the average actual selling price of similar vehicles, not MSRP.  I wouldn't buy a new vehicle, and haven't this century, for more than 80% of MSRP.  Take 20% off that and you will probably be in the ballpark of what a dealer is going to give you in trade.  You likely will come out much better by selling it private.   That new of a vehicle should get several bites from folks interested in a "new" pickup without the "new" price.
