This is awesome, it's not possible to do something like this on the 1500 silverado I guess? I heard there's no option for a second battery for whatever reason.

My 2014 Sierra Denali 1500 had a second battery tray. I had the compressor located there for my Air Lift air bags.
Not sure if the newer 1500 models have a second battery tray though. Perhaps it depends on the options or trim level.
