Let's see your bed management system

Hi all, 

 

I just brought home my 2020 RST and I'm looking for some sort of bed management system to be able to hold groceries or whatnot in the bed without it flying everywhere. Most of my truck buddies just get a 2x6 and put in towards the back of the bed and it hold stuff but I was wondering if there was anything else out there.

i have a cargo bar from harbor freight for $15.  Easily moves into the cab if I need it out of the way.

Just bought the GM Cargo net.  Easy in, easy out if need be.

Couple 2 x 6’s have always worked for me! The grooves in the bed and tailgate hold things nicely in place when driving. That and some good toolboxes that lock together works perfectly. Oh and the multi pro tailgate is absolutely amazing. Makes the whole bed so much more accessible!

Yep, I use a 2x6 also. I sprayed mine with bed liner coating and also made moveable pieces that prevent items from sliding side by side.

On my 2500, the distance from the 2x6 to the tailgate is roughly the same as it is to the wheel well, so it works nice to create a contained space in both areas. I made a couple of the short pieces for both sides.
I have a front accessible hard tonneau cover so I may do something similar in the front of the box also, to keep items from sliding back.

Just the Chevy-branded version of the normal BedRug kit. They were all about the same price when I bought it, figured I might as well have the bow tie logo...

Here’s other pics I took with the tailgate closed & the divider up front. I’ll probably make longer pieces that fit better up front.
