Auxiliary lights in the grill

I have a 2018 Sierra SLT crew cab with the shutter system but I want to add driving lights behind the grille. I don't like the look of those hideous roof mounted light bars or the tacky add on flood lights. I want driving lights, not floods. Help.

i used to have a 30 inch behind my grill but found that i could only use it when there was no traffic around. i wanted something that i didnt have to shut off . i bought thsee lights from rigid and they are amazing for the size of them. https://www.rigidindustries.com/sr-m-series-pro-sr-m-series.html
Where did you buy them from and whats the cost out the door? These are exactly what I've been looking for.

Silveradosid, thank you for the tip. I'm waiting on the pics and mounting options. I ride in deer country down here in central GA and Al and on these dark rural roads lighting is essential. Tugs standard lighting pretty much sux.

Not exactly in grill (I have my strobes there). Cut these Baja design in the front bumper.

I would like to see the write-up on this.  How much of a pain was it to cut into the bumper?

Not a problem at all. I used the supplied template marked them out on the bumper. I drilled the four corners with a unibit just big enough to get a metal jigsaw blade in. I then taped the bottom side of the jigsaw with duct tape as to not scratch the paint. I did the rear bumper as well with clear lights the same way.

Is your truck an '18? The '16 and earlier trucks had slightly different bumpers. Also, are the lights adjustable? I'd like to vary the output as to keep from blinding oncoming traffic.

Mine is an 18. They are not adjustable but has not been a problem so far. I use these everytime it rains or snows. I have them on a separate switch so I can turn them on and off.

Gonna have to find a go around. I hate the standard HID headlights because of the extreme cut off at about 50 ft. I want them similar to what I have on my motorcycle.  I use a Skene programmer that's Canbus controlled allowing me to vary them from 10-100 %. They're set at 30% normally, going to 100% when the high beams or the horn are used.

BTW sixty4, you've been a big help and I thank you for the info.
