Low Profile hood protector bug deflector?

When i was looking at trucks last month i came across a truck I almost bought but deal fell through the truck was black and much like mine accept it had a real low profile hood protector or bug deflector. Do not have any pics but it was black plastic with no name on it. nothing was sticking up from it, more like a hood rock chip protector. anyone know what brand it may have been? Truck was from Canada? Would like to get one for my truck..

It was probably the AVS aeroskin. I have one on my truck, had one since it rolled off the lot. I love it. Look close and you'll see it.

Also, the AVS in-channel vent visors for your windows is awesome if you live in an area that gets hot with the possibility of rain. You can slightly crack your windows open, and the hot air escapes without letting rain in.

can't really see the deflector which is a good thing how does it mount/ 3m tape? i had the avs tape on ones on my old truck how are the in channel ones? similar to weather tech?

The deflector I have is the "smoke" color which blends with my paint, but you can get color matched pieces if you so choose from AVS, just expect to pay more. It attaches via 3M tape. It sticks well as long as the prep was done right.

I also did the "smoke" color for my in-channel vent visors, also stuck into the channels of the window with 3M tape. They recommend 3 days of not rolling your windows down to cure them properly. I've not had any problems with it, except the factory installed deflector clearly didn't have good prep and it peeled in 6 months. But I'm a year in on my replacement that I did myself and it's holding great.

Ha, sounds like my 2015 truck...bought used...from Canada. She came with this super low profile smoke hood protector dookicky. No idea who makes it (no label, emblem or other identifying marks), but I can say I haven't seen another truck around here (New England) with anything close to the same profile. This AVS Aeroskin looks very similar, but again, no label/emblem (maybe it's a sticker/label that comes off?).
