Illuminated GMC emblem

That's encouraging info guys, and thank you for that.  That said, where can someone like me buy on to fit my 2019 GMC Sierra?  The link provided a few posts earlier didn't work, so I'm curious.  The only source I've been able to find thus far is on Ebay, and the seller told me that (based on my VIN) it wasn't compatible.  So, if you know where I can get a lighted GMC emblem for a 2019 GMC I would appreciate the lead.

If it is the updated 2019 body, it will fit. The head light plug is what I am thinking may not fit. I just wired mine in manually (usual positive/negative) on my current truck.

So is the reason why it might not work on an ‘18 might be the plug and not the mounting? I’ll have to measure. Then figure out the wiring.

NM. I see the reason why. I measured my ‘18 and the existing emblem comes  in at 17” wide. If this emblem is 18 1/2” wide, I don’t know how that is going to fit the existing grill. I need to bring my tape in to a dealer and do some measuring.

Hi Everyone, I commented on this post many moons go and actually bought this emblem for my 2019 AT4. since then I have sold that truck and bought a new AT4X. 

if anyone is insterested in buying my lighted emblem, its still in the box, i never installed it.

 

* Edit. I just realized that the emblem I bought does not fit the 2019 Sierra. I honestly never even tried to install it in my old truck but after a google search on the part number I have, it shows it fits the following year models.

I am french, I did an importation of a Yukon Denali XL 2019, last year, as this amazing car does not exists in France.

I desperately searching for an illuminated logo for My Yukon denali XL 2019. But i can't find anywhere. I am looking for the red logo illuminated in white.

A simple question does it exists for a 2019 Yukon denali XL?

Hello Alexis.  As the owner of a 2019 AT4 Sierra I have not been able to confirm that there is a part that will fit my model (at least not without some customization, since my VIN doesn't support the illuminated GMC logos that I have been able to find thus far during my searches).

 

I have seen evidence of some others with a 2019 model year that were able to get it to work, but again, not without some modification as it's not a direct GMC replacement part for the 2019 to the best of my knowledge.

 

I'll keep looking, you do the same and if either one of us finds something let's plan to have the courtesy to let the other know....deal?

When I had my 19 Denali I looked into getting one through my dealership a couple years ago. The listing for it at that time only showed it working on 20-21 models. He ordered it just to see if he could make it work. After it arrived he tried but said the wiring connection was different on the 20 and later models and without maybe splicing into a headlight wire he couldn't get it work which would of course void any future warranty claims on that if something happened. I decided to not do it to avoid possible problems later.

If the Yukon is the same as the Sierra, then the cut off for the emblem and the change in the headlight wiring connect happened in 2019. For me, I have a 2018 Sierra and I ordered the older connectors, seals, pins and cut the old connector off the wiring harness that came with the emblem and started putting the GT 280 connectors on it. Also had to cut new slots in the grille where the old emblem was to attach the new emblem. Still working on it and a family emergency stopped me midway through but I’ll pass it on on what else needed to be done. Crossing fingers!

Can anyone confirm if the emblem remains lit up while driving? (Like the Mercedes emblem)
