Perfectly color matched to the truck. Almost completely flush. The unit just about disappears on the Truck.

That looks great.  Did it come painted or did the body shop paint it.  Can you please post the part number, thanks.

It’s pre painted by Lund/Auto Ventshade. Below is the model number. I ordered direct from Lund/AVS

that looks great. Do these get damaged in drive through car washes?

No, its flush to the body. It uses 3M type double sided molding tape. Its applied pretty  much like like the manufacturer applies most exterior moldings and trim. Its more or less like a second skin to the front of the hood. Its intended not to be removed once applied and to last the life of the hood.

If you use the coin spray wash, the pressure washer on soap will peel it right off.

Since they are clear they usually paint them on the backside so the pressure washer will have no effect.

It’s a sticker. A small sticker mounted on the surface of the plastic. Thanks for your contribution, though. Lund is pretty good about realizing that not everyone wants to advertise for them, so they make the ad relatively easy to remove.

He was talking about the color of the guard itself since someone asked if it would get damaged in a Carwash. Not the sticker.
