I am going to apply a nano ceramic paint protectant to my 2020 Sierra 1500 Elevation X31 off-road.  I did not purchase the $1K option at the dealer as that is a warranty instead of quality.

What nano ceramic protectants for the paint have you had great experience with?  I am also looking for experiences with interior nano ceramic fabric protectors.  All the research I done results in no correlation and no input from real life.

I had been using CQuartz ceramic coatings that my detailer put on for me for the past several years. However, recenlty my detailer recommended we switch to GTechnicque C2V3. The problem I always had with the CQuartz coatings is that they needed Reload every few months to keep them slick and working well for the 2-3 years you were supposed to get out of it. I didn't mind too much, as I would do it as part of my regular washes but it was a pain in the ass to apply well. On my white BMW, it was great as you could not see any imperfections or streaking at all on white paint. My old Lexus RC350 F Sport was Gray and showed them like crazy. My 2020 GMC Elevation is also gray. The C2V3 is a product that gets around 8 months of protection and is super easy to put on with no streaking whatsoever. It doesn't last 2-3 years but since it's so easy to apply, I'll be having it done every 3-5 months during my regular details anyway. Instead of reload, I'll just use the C2V3. I gotta say, he did my BMW last week and it looks and feels spectacular.

Just my $0.02

Prep work is key! I just finished coating my truck with Adams ceramic coating. I took two days to complete it. I know you're talking about nano ceramic, but what company are you looking into using? Are you doing it yourself or paying a detailer?

The devil is in the details

My car and truck are coated with the Adams ceramic coating. I did the interiors with cquartz leather

This is 13 months after application on my truck

Nice garage! Vehicles look great too! How do you like the cquartz leather? Also, what window visors are those? Any wind noise from them?

Thanks, the cquartz leather has worked well. Added protection especially with the kids. Easy wipe downs especially after baseball

I have weathertech in channel visors. I had AVS ones and they were awful (cracked, warped) went through 2 sets and switched. No issues with weathertech

I am enjoying Wolfgang's new spray ceramic. Beads and sheets water well. Very inexpensive and easy to apply. Longevity is still in the air. On the cheat you can't beat Turtle wax shine and seal available at Walmart for under 10$. C2V3 as stated above is a great product also.

Just had front end PPF done on my new '19 Sierra and the detailer added a round of Feynlab Ceramic Lite.

Looks real good. Only had a week or so, so can't comment on longevity, but the couple of storms we've had this week, the aquaphobic properties were obvious and better than anything I'd ever been able to achieve with wax before.

Looking forward to see how easy she is to wash next weekend.655b3d4593c290024e8ed1b88dd0199c.jpg

I decided to use the Adams ceramic coating product after looking at Avalon King and a few others.  The products offered to protect the ceramic for longer life is attractive.  I will be sure to fully prep the truck with a good wash, clay bar, and polish.  There is likely some paint correction needed before the polish.  New is never perfect, especially from the dealer.  I'll take my time as I am going for quality over quick.
