Have you noticed it catching water? Also, curious to know what your payload is on your AT4.

Its been out in the rain a few nights but didn't notice anything that I would consider excessive. First time I washed it before the tonneau the tailgate seem to collect some water, with it on washing no were near the same. Driving or parking during a rain nothing much like mentioned. My concern is the salt we get during the winter use, not being a daily driver should help and it also been to Ziebart already so that'll hold things off from deteriorating I'm sure.

20500 on mine bought in 12-30-19

No issues just a couple recalls. Love the milage.

Curious what your recalls were? 20k huh? That’s probably the highest I’ve seen so far.

Recalls  were 2 software updates and 1 DEF which so far seemed to help normalize def consumption

Were the software updates noticeable fixes for you or did you have your truck in for something else and the dealer just took care of the updates while it was in?

I think I had the same as 'yousaveone' did only one software update i think (remote start with the app that I never use) and the DEF recall/update. I had a check engine light on a few days, it went off literally on the way to the dealership. They cleared/updated and everything's been good since. I haven't noticed any difference good or bad

...glad to see I'm in good company of others who drive a lot. I bought mine with 8 miles on it back in March and now at 9,500. That's quite a bit of driving, but sounds like some of you are in the same boat. 70 mile round trip to work each day plus some short weekend trips.

The recalls were done just because I noticed it had them. With the exception of the DEF; one day the truck started using 5X more DEF a couple gallons every thousand miles. The DEF recall seems to have fixed it although some speculate that the DEF consumption is slowly calculated so the consumption issue may return.

Got it. It’s hard not to be excited about this engine with all that it offers. I feel it really checks all boxes for my needs as a family hauler for our long trips to visit family 3 hours away and being able to tow comfortably and safety a small travel trailer, of course with proper set up.

Just got back from a long towing trip and have 12,014 miles now!

2400 total mile trip, 2100 miles of that towing a 5.8-6.0k trailer. Sucked about 10 gallons of DEF during that timeframe.

Word of caution for those going on long drives, particularly towing. I’m going to start packing a 2.5 gal or 5.0 gal jug of DEF to have for safety PLUS a funnel!! Everything worked out fine for me but I noticed some places in the middle of nowhere don’t carry DEF, or it could be hard to find, or in this case one spot had some bottles of DEF but no funnels in the box or sold at the store. Always better to be prepared and not need it!

15,000 on mine bought on 1/20/20. Love the truck. Love the mileage. Then two and a half weeks ago started to hear a sound of something under the cab/hood.  Looked under good and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Then check engine light came on. Took to dealer. They called and said that there was oil on engine. Wasn’t there before I took it there and must’ve happened on way. Been there two weeks dealer has been communicating w gm w no diagnosis. Then finally got a call from dealer yesterday saying they found the problem. Check engine light was O2 sensors but oil was from a blown seal. Replacing turbo, intercooler and other parts. Parts will be in Monday and truck should be done on weds. Will update when I get the work order When I pick it up. Even w problems still love engine and hasn’t soured my opinion yet. Sorry for hurried reply at kids party. Will update later.

Is anyone out there using their 3.0 diesel to pull a gooseneck trailer? I intend to use it to pull a GN 3 horse trailer at 7500-8000 lbs. Does it hold level or will it need air bags or air shocks?
