HotShots EDT is pretty good, but Archoil is the cream of the crop. Archoil really helps with DPF cleaning and keeping from doing regens!

I've never used an additive in 20years.  Not sure what I'm missing..

Spending more money per gallon of fuel comes to mind.

About 1 million miles driving diesel trucks pulling my equipment to jobs, demos and training. I rarely used additives. If I did it was Amsoil because we sold the stuff. I also had a 100 gal L shaped fuel tank under my tool box that had a spin on filter. I usually fueled my truck through that. I only got bad fuel at a truck stop once. It required more frequent fuel filter changes. I always carried spares.

Friend is owner/operator and some years back he took a load from Northern Michigan to FL and got a load back. He said he fueled up in FL and on the way back hit unexpected very cold weather in the Carolina's, freezing rain etc.  He had fuel gelling issues.......so you never know.

I use Archoil Fuel treatment at every fill. And then after each oil change I use the Archoil diesel fuel system cleaner.

The couple of times I forget to add the Archoil fuel treatment on a tank, I notice the mileage is down a couple mpgs. So i just keep running it.

No but when I travel up to western PA in the mountains in the winter to see my mom, it can get cold there. I have to be careful with my windshield washer fluid and make sure it is at least -20, the summer stuff wouldn't cut it on my trips. I'm grateful she is still here at 89yrs.

I am currently trying Archoil but I've noticed no magic with regens or mileage changes.

I may bring some Power Service for the return trip when I go to AZ in February.  Other than that, local stations carry blended fuel in the winter so no issues on gelling.
