With a custom tune done by a person/shop or a handheld tuner.

Fair warning here, the rear driveshaft is not rated to go above the speed limiter. People still do it but you run the risk of the driveshaft exploding and they often just let go without a warning at high speeds.

I was told by reputable tuner that it should be good until around 130 mph. I looked into it a bit. I'm not sure if its before 2015, or 2016 model year that GM beefed them up. It still looks like the same 5" but its not. Either way 17 and up you should be good to go.

On that note, I haven't tested it; my tires are only good to 112 anyways.

I also had my trans flushed with the latest fluid due to shuddering, and rpm fluctuations. Problem is gone, and its smooth as ****. And somehow it quieted down my kooks/corsa setup, "a lot". I thought maybe the tech had done something to the exhaust, but he didn't; exactly as I had left it. I know because I screwed around with it 2 or 3 times, I wasn't happy with the ypipe-corsa connection. Maybe I am missing something. But if I am, then this setup isnt as load as everybody claims it to be.

*Edit*  Didn't see that you had a 16 ;/

my 2016 denali 6.2L is limited to 100mph.  How do you over ride this?

why?  buy a used  Camaro,  if you need more speed..older 1999-2002 years are easy to work on

I love it when these type of threads reappear. So some yo-yo will asked why. Then direct someone to buy a sports car. In reality it would be cheaper to modify the said vehicle to reach the OPs goal. My answer would be why not?
