Black emblems added

Don’t know why I didn’t do this first, but decided to switch my emblems to black. Illuminated front now black, which I now have the red one laying around. I don’t have 50 posts yet so I’ll have to wait a bit before it’s for sale. Also did the tailgate in black. Much better than the red on my dark sky color.

Tailgate looks good but not sure what to think on the grille.

It’s cool if you don’t like it. I’m not easily offended. The color of my truck makes it tough for me to like red accents on it

And not trying to offend you. Just processing it. Maybe it looks better in person IDK.. looks like an empty hole. Maybe silver? Not sure. Nice truck none-the-less

All good. I can see your point. If there were a chrome trim around it somehow it would definitely pop more. I simply don’t like the red emblems, but I like the illuminated emblem. The red illuminated one was a bit more muted than the stock one, which didn’t look as bad. So if I were to go back to that one I’d have to yank off the rear black ones. Which honestly I did like the look of the tailgate without the GMC emblems. So i may end up doing that.

Haven’t gotten a pic of the black one in the dark yet, here was the red when I got that one in.

I agree with you, the back looks great, if the front had the chrome around the edge like the rear it would look great as well.

 

BTW looks awesome illuminated.

Yes it does light up. It’s daisy chained off the headlights with a plug and play harness, comes on with headlights.

Are these from the GM Accessories site?  Any place to get them cheaper?
