So it looks like the 2inch GM lift is not recommended if your vehicle is equipped with the rear “composite” leaf springs...

Ive read this before on another thread and it was the first I had heard about the different kind of leaf springs. But do you (or anyone else) know why it’s not recommended? What parts comprise the rear part of the lift, I thought it was just a block?

The composite springs have a shim between the axle and the spring that needs to be removed in order to safely run a block.
there was talks of GM offering a overload spring option so people could swap out their composite spring.

Yup...looks great.  Have plans for wheels and tires?

I have a local shop ready to put on the 3.5" lift from Rough Country.  Now I just need to confirm wheel / tire combo.  Too many options....

If you have a standard, instead of short bed, the GM website indicates you can use this:

https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/lift-suspension-upgrade-system-for-4wd-vehicles-84768243?year=2020&make=Chevrolet&model=Silverado 1500&modelId=491&body=Crew Cab Pickup&bodyId=22&wheel=Standard Box&wheelId=652&trim=LTZ&trimId=478&drive=4WD&driveId=8&engine=3.0L L6 DIESEL&engineId=17881&bodyNumDoors=5

"2019+ Chevrolet Silverado 1500 equipped with composite rear leaf springs (Chevrolet LT Trim with 5.3L V8 engine (L84) - Chevrolet LT Trim, Short Bed with 3.0L Turbo Diesel engine (LM2)"

My dealership will be adding this to my truck shortly.  They did not indicate any compliance issues

So it's not lift, but rather a level kit, 2.5" front, 1.5" rear all from Suspension Maxx.  It is however a 3.0 Duramax.  I liked the stock rims but changed the stock tires to a Ridge Grappler 305/45/22.  I'm happy with the way that it turned out, ride is same as stock, appearance is better IMO.  Good luck on your search and congrats on the truck.

Any issues w/ your lift yet and the Denali ARC?  I've read a few horror stories but I'd like to do a similar set up as you did.  Your truck looks great!

I haven't had any issues with the ARC, ride is the same as stock.  The kit has relocation brackets for the sensors.  I also kept a P rated tire. I read that stiffer sidewalls can be part of the issue with the ARC, not sure if that is true or not.  I wanted the ride as close to stock as possible and this set up did just that.  Good luck.

Yes. For sure.

Here there are tire and wheel shops that have them available in sets or singles.

Wheels can get damaged and need replaced ..

Some want a second set of rims for a second set of tires.

Some prefer the wheels that were offered on a different trim, or as an option -- but want a factory style.
