IUpdate Dec 22 , I was at dealer in 2021, couldn't create the noise, just recently , I used my experience working at the Oshawa Trk Plt (retired) ,in my shop, flat surface, rolled down front window , lifted door through window opening in door, door can be moved up and down on hinges and door latch plate with door fully closed and latched. I will be contacting GM and Skeld before returning to my dealership.

Interesting, so it's an up/down movement.  How did you move the door exactly?

I lifted door through the window open, lifting up at top of window opening

I have a new 2022AT4 door sounds like it's not shut. Took it to Ken Fowler's they said theres nothing wrong. It's so annoying that when you go over railroad tracks or curtain bumps the door rattles like it's not shut all the way. I've recorded it and you can hear it in a recording.  But the dealership said nothing is wrong with it. SMH, I'M SO FRUSTRATED WITH KEN FOWLER'S for doing this. I spent over $100,000 for this truck and this is how I'm treated.

This is certainly not what we like to hear, Eugene Turri.  Please know, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Our team would be more than happy to take a closer look into the concerns with your 2022 AT4. To do so, please send an email to [email protected] with ATTN: Eugene Turri/GM Trucks in the subject line.

I have a 2021 silverado 3500hd, and it has the "loose door/window" issue, just like you all are describing.

If anyone gets info on how GM is going to fix this, please let us know, so we can take it to the dealer.

I have a  2021 crew cab 2500 hd with 29K on it.I have been to Robertson GMC for this issue, door sounds like it's not shut. They said there  is nothing wrong. I was told they adjusted the door and it is correct. Now I have lots of road and wind noise. I can put a dollar in the door opening, close the door and slide the dolllar out like its not touching. It's so annoying that when you go over railroad tracks or curtain bumps the door rattles like it's not shut all the way. I've recorded it and you can hear it in a recording.  But the dealership said nothing is wrong with it. Now, it is getting alot worse and the other door is acting up. To compound this issue, I am experiencing a vibration at highway speeds (70 mph on cruise control),  I'm so Frustrated and Disapointed in a truck that I saved a ton of money for. I feel like I got ripped off. Please GM do something! I dont want to send my truck in just to be told it's supposed to be like that

I have a 2021 3500hd that also has this issue. It has done it since it was brand new and I now have 22,000 miles on it and it's getting worse. When I open my drivers door you can feel the back (by striker) drop down as you open it. I also have been to the dealer many times and issue has never been resolved. They told me I need to take it to a body shop to have the door adjusted! Pathetic you spend 80k on a damn truck and it has these problems. Never had an issue with my Ford Powerstroke.

It is sad that multiple dealers have been doing this to there customers.  There should be some kind of compensation to the customer.  It is alot of money to spend on something that has a flaw that they cannot fix at the dealer.

Yeah, count me in on this fiasco too !!! 2020 AT4 3500 Dmax. My drivers side door has had the thunking sound when hitting bumps too. It has been to the dealer multiple times for latch adjustment and checking out the suspension, running boards etc. After this last latch adjustment, it is a little better. I have a great mechanic at my dealer but he claims he hasn't been able to reproduce the noise/sound when driving it. I am at 18,000 miles now and it has done it since day one. My 3/36 bumper to bumper is up in 3 weeks and I feel like I am going to end having to live with it forever at this point. I agree, for $80,000, I expected better fit and finish (I had the leaky rear window too). I have always been a GM guy but we just retired my wife's Traverse and got her a Honda Pilot. May end up having to try a different brand of truck on the next one maybe......... HW

I also have the exact same issue. Went to the dealer twice with no luck. Truck now has 40k miles and like everyone else the problem seems to be getting worse as the mileage goes up.

Any fixes that actually work? Super annoying on bumpy roads. Truck feels/sounds like it's falling apart.
