I have read and listened to sound clips as much as I could and I decided to go for it. I have a 2021 TB with the 6.2 and I just couldn't stand how quiet it was.  I took it to the exhaust shop today and had them cut out the flapper valve and muffler and weld in a new piece of pipe. I kept the 2 resonators in place. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and love the sound. well worth the $100. I spent.  But the problem is I can now hear clearly when it goes into deactivating cylinders....that I don't like at all.

can anyone tell me what's the fix to keep it in V8 mode all the time?

Run it in manual mode (L9 on the column shifter), and that will keep it in V8 mode. No DFM.

Thank you John. So the truck wont shift to 10th gear in this scenario correct?  I will try this but i really would like to just put the truck in drive and and still not have DFM working.

Yes, if you keep it in L9, the truck will shift through gears 1-9 and not go into DFM. So V8 mode all the time. Another option is to purchase the Pulsar LT from Range Technology for $449.95 and deactivate DFM using this device. Then you can keep it in D mode, and DFM will not be activated. Link for Pulsar LT below.

I had a new muffler installed and removed the flappers. The tones(to me) aren't unbearable, just not ideal. I'm like you, though, trying to find an alternative way around.

I've debated having one or both flappers reinstalled, and maybe removing the resonators. I haven't yet found anyone that's done this setup for a reference, though.

Had mine cut out about a month ago, sounds great, minor drone.. for the $75 I spent it was well worth it.  I have the 5.3 and get asked all the time if it's the 6.2.

Is this the exhaust leak type sound you are hearing?

I understand it sounds more like a helicopter.  I have an S&B intake (noisy) and my flapper removed.  I don't hear this

There is no exhaust leak sound.....It just sound like a 4 cylinder like a honda or suburu with an aftermarket pipe on it lol. Just sounds weird....Im going to do the pulsar lt as suggested above.
