Wrong. The CDC changed the definition of the word vaccine to fit the COVID vaccine. Bait and switch. Polio for example. A vaccine was developed to eliminate polio as well as most of the vaccines for our childhood diseases. You don’t get polio lite or measles lite. It’s amazing to me how short memories are regarding the COVID vaccine. Go ahead keep taking it, it may not harm you. I hope it doesn’t, I really do. The studies I’m reading about and the slow trickle of side effects coming out…. I can only say I tried.

Yes, you can get polio even with the VACCINE and it can be less severe. Ask my mother. She was a two-dose 90% effective kid that got it anyway. She was one that recovered quite well. She would disagree about 'lite'.  Born in the 1920's they had yet to learn that up to 4 doses was 99% effective. Went to play basketball in grammar school and missed the whole 'iron lung' ordeal. She INSISTED in our full vaccinations from just that experience.

Polio Vaccine Effectiveness and Duration of Protection | CDC

CDC gave the effectiveness rate and 'then known' side effects at the time of release for each vaccine so individuals could make up their mind on which if any to use.

I get why you take the stand you do given the awful health services you've received. But you not in that boat alone.

My aunt passed during the pandemic from COVID given to her by her health provider while being treated.

My uncle just passed after a surgery for a perforated colon and died from the infection he got in the O.R.

My father came a cat's breath from death from the same thing. Infection acquired during surgery for a bypass.

Hospitals are dangerous places.

All three of these people took every vaccine offered.

I’m just worried for the people especially the young who seem to effective by side effects. My 92 year old father in law had all the shots. Got COVID twice. Both times just after boosters. By the way my grandfather had polio couldn’t walk. He had dump trucks. Used to load coal sitting down with a shovel. My father worked for him. He passed at a young age from high blood pressure before there were meds. Just after an argument with my father. My grandmother sold the trucks bought busses. My mother drove one for a couple of years. She was good at sideswiping cars. My grandmother had to fire her. Now she rubs the yellow poles protecting drive thru in her one ton. Oops rambling.

Update. Recently I’ve noticed muscle pain at the injection site. It’s been a couple of months. It’s even noticeable reaching out to pick up my coffee. Usually at my age I would get a little soreness after yard work but no pain. This started before any yard work had begun. Just makes me wonder.
