Found part # for the new AT4 high clearance step for RPO code VXW or PDG....GM 84630474. Kind of expensive so I’ll have to wait for a used set.

For those of you have these steps - do you like them?  My wife is 5'7 and she uses the steps to get in.  We had the amp research on my last truck and we both loved those, however, they are ridiculously expensive.  GM accessories  has 25% off right now and my dealer will install for $58.  They will still end up costing $980!  I'd love to hear any opinions before I spend this kind of money.  They do look good.

I've had them for about 4 days now and I like them. My wife is 5'4" and likes the ease of getting into the truck now. They are very non slip. I just gotta remember they are there when getting out as they will snag your pants with the textured coating.

I'd say the $58 and buy dinner. It literally took me about 20 mins to install and that was taking my time laying the cardboard on the ground so I didn't scratch them sliding them on the floor.

I have them and like them very much. As said above, install is not hard at all. But for $58 I'd probably have the dealer do it if it was convenient for me.

Has anyone purchased these for their AT4 that has kids, if so can they reach this step ok or would a lower step be best?  My kids are 5 and 7 and they can get into and out of our 2021 Suburban with fold  out running boards with air suspension on highest setting, I should probably measure how far down that step is.  I also have a wife who is 5'1", hoping these steps will work with both.

My last concern is that I live on dirt road so wondering how well they will clean off mud, saw one post in here that the area close to truck is hard to clean.

My wife is also 5’1” and she likes them much better than no step. She has no trouble with them.  I have no complaints so far. And my kids have no problems using them - 8 and up. I think they look better than the Amps personally. I like that they’re low clearance. I see a lot of damaged Amps on trucks. Actually my only complaint is that it’s hard to clean behind them when hand washing because they’re so tight to the truck. They clean up fine with a brush. The texture will tear up a sponge.

Recently purchased a 2021 AT4 HD.  It came with the high clearance steps.  I like them but they are a little high.  Does anyone know if someone sells brackets or adapters that will lower them an inch or two?  I had AMP retractable steps on my last truck and I did like the lower steps.  Don't know if I will swap them out.

Does anyone know why these do not fit 2020 models? Seems strange to me. I have found them on a few GM parts sites, but these sites list them as incompatible with a 2020 2500 AT4. When I tried to source them from the dealer they could not find them as an option. But i swear when went through the process of building the truck online in 2020 it showed them as an option. If they really are incompatible, does anyone know how difficult it would be to make them fit if even possible?! Much thanks!

I've seen this question a few times, anyone have an answer? I'd really like to order a set of these, but would hate to drop the $$ if they don't fit or need to be modified to fit. I can't imagine anything changed from 2020 to 2021, but who knows with automakers these days...
