My wife just got a new Acadia Denali. What a smooth ride. She stepped up from a Terrain. Her mirror caps are paint matched from the factory and door handles have black in the middle with chrome on the outer edges. Her led driving lights also turn amber when the signals are on. Very cool feature. Pic of the door handle enclosed. Why can’t they do this for our trucks? Just an observation.

They did it on the last gen SUVs as well. Us truck people dont need every single thing they assume. So they dumb stuff down and charge the same.

I like. I picked my wife up a fully loaded SLT in October. Got $9500 off MSRP. Also traded in a terrain. Love the power and the ride of this new Acadia. Very smooth. Nice purchase. Congrats.

I believe those handles will fit the trucks. I have compared my wife's '20 Equinox handles to my truck's and they are almost identical. Granted I have not tried them.

I'm late to the first meeting of "my wife traded in a Terrain for a new Acadia" Club.

We also have the color matched handles wrapped in chrome. Is that a Denali thing?

This car is pretty fancy, with the adaptive cruise and lane departure and parking sensors, all the expensive junk I don't need on my truck, haha.

I've never been in front of it while driving, now I want to go see what the turn signals look like.

We have had a gremlin with the backup camera spontaneously not working. I thought it was temperature related this winter, but lately have had a few times it went blank with warmer temps, always works again after sitting a while.

Other than that, its pretty nice. The wife and kids like it, so I can't complain.

I'm fairly sure it is a Denali (GMC) and Premier (Chevrolet) thing.

She traded her terrain in too haha. I told her to look at these and she’s glad she did. They had a nice March Madness deal going on them. I walked the lot, only a couple of Sierra’s with the small Duramax. They can’t get any in because of the resistor shortage

My wife was adamant that she wanted Satin Steel. We were looking around over Christmas. Found the one she wanted at Laura GMC (6 hours away from us). So I drove down there after work on 12/30 to buy on new years eve and get the employee pricing. We were happy with their price, and couldn't find what she wanted any closer to home.

My wifes been looking at these too, although it will likely be a couple of years.  I'm sure most will since the new Terrains are smaller.  And if your SO's are anything like my wife, she wants another V6.  She's not the least bit interested in a 4 cyl.

Just wait - I have a feeling the trucks will get the switchback LEDs in the next update.  The trucks and SUVs carry many of the same features but do not always go the same ways.  For instance the 2019 trucks received the interior and exterior refresh, new steering wheel, and infotainment changes sooner than the SUVs did.  A whole 2 model years out of sync.  They aren't on equal planes.

I had 2 loaner 2020 Terrains last year while my GMC was in for service.  They are small.  I've never been in the previous gen but from the exterior they do appear to be larger.  You know what's also worse?  The Encore/Trax.  I also had a loaner 2020 Trax before the Terrains.  Piece of garbage stupid clown car!!!

And by the way the UN doesn't want your wife to enjoy that V6 OR I4.  Ask her how she feels about that!

I picked up a Cadillac Xt6 for SO and being it had the V6 something I pressed for because she does not care about the engine or trans etc.  The serviceability of this engine is Extremely easy and so far so good.  The 9speed now that I have the fluids in it I want is SLICK!

I think they will too, and I also compared my wife's 20 equinox - Hers is even the same color as my Silverado.

Rarely drove her terrain. It’s cramped. The Acadia is right in the sweet spot in size for her and I don’t mind it either. I had a 15 Acadia and that was much larger. I liked that one.

I too had a 2015 Acadia. Was much larger than this new Acadia. Engine felt like it was struggling at times. The redesign of this new vehicle and the motor, along with the 9 spd makes this thing get up and go pretty good. And if you drive it accordingly, we have achieved 28 mpgs going 70 mph.  My mother has the new enclave. It is bigger, rides excellent, but my wife wanted this because it was just the right size for her.
